tony leggett
studied bass trombone at the Royal College of Music, under Peter Harvey. (London Philharmonic) and among his diplomas, gained his ARCM with honours.

Having worked with most of the major London orchestras, he found his niche playing original instruments. Firstly with John Elliot Gardiner and his English Baroque Soloists, London Classical Players (Norrington) and many recordings with the Age of Enlightenment. later moving to earlier repertoire, working extensively with Gabrieli Consort (Paul McCreesh) Kings Consort (Robert King) and His Majesties Sackbutts and cornetts.

With also playing many West End shows and the wide range of repertoire he covers he has since been invited back to the Royal College this time though to conduct master classes for their brass faculty.

On moving to Switzerland in 2000 he is now working mainly with l'Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne but as regularly invited to play with Bern sinfonie and Zurich Opera.
